CrunchDay no. 3

Sometimes you’re in a funk, can’t figure out what to do to get out of it, and your hubs suggests going on a quick photo adventure to try to cheer you up. I hadn’t shot much for over a year, but that’s a story for another time… I decided on the Fuji X-T20 for our excursion and we headed into town. There was a storm heading our way, but J thought we had time.

We went to a park near the library, and at this point I was in a terrible mood. The rain clouds were moving in, I was frustrated with delays getting to the location, and I did not feel motivated to start shooting again. I begrudgingly gathered up my gear and trudged behind J into the park. Looking back, I cannot believe how grumpy I was. Still, J encouraged me to pull the camera out and take some shots. Drips were forming on some of the flowers…

My mood lightened as we followed a path through the greenery. I started to think that maybe I could get back into photography… maybe this creative outlet wasn’t completely lost to me. At least I was enjoying myself and exploring the park.

Thank goodness for J’s patience and prodding to get me back out with a camera… and this quirky park.
