We took a quick drive to Harrison Lake this weekend and spent a relaxing morning in the sunshine. The lake was smooth when we arrived to put the boat in. The green, sun-dappled hills made me think of Ireland.
I enjoyed seeing the pelicans flying around us. They’re still an odd sight to me here in the mountains – on lakes and rivers. I think of pelicans as an ocean bird, but they’ve always been here.
The main plan for this excursion was fishing, so I didn’t bring a camera along besides my iPhone 7 Plus. It does a good enough job on these occasions, and I’m still able to capture the beauty around me. And the memories of a fun day of fishing with J.
I processed these photos with VSCO on my iPhone – using the FS4 film.
